Gobbos and Giant go to War

Hi All
Dad and I thought we'd have a game with My Giant and other miniatures I painted.
We played two quick games of Warhammer, but simplified the rules a bit. We used some of Dad's Byzantines to play against, as I don't have all my Dwarves painted yet.
Above we see a picture of my Giant attacking Dad's Byzantine Spearmen. We used the "Empire" characteristics for the "Busy people".
In the photo below we see what happend after a round of combat,... "Run away! Run away,.."!

Here are two photos of my Gobbos.

Both are 20 gobbo stong units, but in the bottom photo the gobbos have taken some hits from Dwarf Thunderer Handgunners!

My Games Workshop GIANT!

Hi Everyone.
Here is some pictures of my Giant that Dad and I made and painted.
Dad put it together and then I painted him. Dad then painted the Cow and the bag of Hobbits he's going to have for lunch, and then glued them on to his belt.
Dad then covered him with an ARMY PAINTER Strong Shade. That made him look really cool I think.
I like the human that's running away!

Here is a picture of the human running away:
"Arrrrrrrr,.. Look out, there's a GIANT about"!
I'll call him Stampy.

Thanks for looking at my GIANT!

Dad, MJ and Matty

Hello
Here is a picture of my little sister Matty and her Mum, (my step-mum) MJ.
She's in the Army.
My Mum is in the AIRFORCE, (RAAF).
I'll put a picture of her here soon.
Here's a picture of Dad and a friend of the family on the Queen's Birthday:

RED SPEARS!

My next unit is a Goblin Spear Regiment! So Far I've painted their Skin, (snot green), and their capes, ( a very dark red). Dad will highlight with a orangy-red colour for me, then we'll paint their spears and other bits. I haven't thought of a name for these guys yet. Any suggestions?
Bye for now!

Chapter Two: Work In Progress!

Here are some photos of the painting I have done so far. I did the "block" colours, and dad did the highlighting for me. I think picking the colours was a lot of fun. The pictures in the box had the goblins with black cloaks, but I thought brown would look better. I still need to flock the bases and do a few more fiddly bits, like the feathers on the arrows.
The Hut was painted by me and my friend Kaleesha! (but dad did the highlights again).

Chapter 1: My Goblin Adventure Begins!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Hayley and I'm 10 years old. My dad is helping me create a Army of Goblins for me to use playing Wargames; (Sweeeeeet)!
He bought me a Warhammer goblin (and Dwarf) set of miniatures, and he will help me paint, base, and play wargames with them.
A wargame is when two players or more have their miniature armies battle against each other.
(Dad says you can play solo, but I think it's more fun to play against or with someone else).
I'm going to use this blog to show you how I go about collecting, painting and playing with Gobos (that's what I call Goblins), and other fantasy critters.
The first Gobo Regiment, (that's a "unit" of soldiers) that I will paint will be a Gobo Archer unit. I will call them "The Evil Archers of The Blood Moon".
Tomorrow I'll post some pictures as I paint them.
I also will make units of Spearmen, Spider-riders and a Troll!
That's all for now.
See Ya!
