RED SPEARS!

My next unit is a Goblin Spear Regiment! So Far I've painted their Skin, (snot green), and their capes, ( a very dark red). Dad will highlight with a orangy-red colour for me, then we'll paint their spears and other bits. I haven't thought of a name for these guys yet. Any suggestions?
Bye for now!

A DWARF SLAYER CHAMPION!

Hi
Dad bought me this really cool DWARF SLAYER, and she's a girl!
Excellent!
Can't wait to paint her!
Dad and I picked her up at Eureka Miniatures. I also got some Toad Riding Frogs!

Bye!

Chapter Two: Work In Progress!

Here are some photos of the painting I have done so far. I did the "block" colours, and dad did the highlighting for me. I think picking the colours was a lot of fun. The pictures in the box had the goblins with black cloaks, but I thought brown would look better. I still need to flock the bases and do a few more fiddly bits, like the feathers on the arrows.
The Hut was painted by me and my friend Kaleesha! (but dad did the highlights again).

Chapter 1: My Goblin Adventure Begins!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Hayley and I'm 10 years old. My dad is helping me create a Army of Goblins for me to use playing Wargames; (Sweeeeeet)!
He bought me a Warhammer goblin (and Dwarf) set of miniatures, and he will help me paint, base, and play wargames with them.
A wargame is when two players or more have their miniature armies battle against each other.
(Dad says you can play solo, but I think it's more fun to play against or with someone else).
I'm going to use this blog to show you how I go about collecting, painting and playing with Gobos (that's what I call Goblins), and other fantasy critters.
The first Gobo Regiment, (that's a "unit" of soldiers) that I will paint will be a Gobo Archer unit. I will call them "The Evil Archers of The Blood Moon".
Tomorrow I'll post some pictures as I paint them.
I also will make units of Spearmen, Spider-riders and a Troll!
That's all for now.
See Ya!
